Grows as a tender perennial or die-back shrub, thriving in warm seasons and returning in spring after mild winters. With full sun exposure, it produces clusters of bright yellow and orange, trumpet-shaped flowers from late spring through fall, attracting pollinators like bees and hummingbirds. Though it may experience frost damage in colder months, it often regrows from the roots when temperatures warm up. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, this shrub adds a vibrant, tropical touch to gardens with well-draining soil and occasional watering.
