Blooms in late spring. Fruit ripens in November. Fruit is good for eating fresh or frozen, in preserves, or dried.

Tanenashi
A small tree, self-fertile, producing seedless, apple-size fruit in fall. Astringent early, the late ripening fruits mature from yellow to deep orange color turning sweet, juicy and flavorful. Best fully tree ripened.

Planting Instructions: Dig hole big enough to allow 12” of fill soil between root ball and the sides of the hole. Install the plant so that the top of the root ball is slightly higher than existing soil grade. Backfill with topsoil and water heavily to eliminate air pockets.
